Additional Full Council Meeting Tuesday 30th June 7.30pm
Battle Town Council
As many residents will be aware one of Battle’s oldest heritage buildings, The Almonry, is in desperate need of repair. As part of Battle Town Council’s Annual Report, a consultation questionnaire was circulated in April to all residents, asking for opinions on the future of The Almonry.
The consultation closed on the 19th June and Council is now in the process of collating the results to better understand public opinion on the project. Council would like to thank all residents who took part on the consultation. All responses have been safely received and play a valuable part in shaping Council’s decision as the project moves forward.
Battle Town Council will be holding an additional Full Council meeting on Tuesday 30th June at 7.30pm to agree the future of The Almonry project. As with all Full Council meetings, there will be an opportunity for members of the public to comment or ask questions within the first 15 minutes. To assist with responses please submit questions to the Clerk by Monday 29th June at midday on firstname.lastname@example.org or 01424 772210. Questions not pre-submitted will receive a written response after the meeting.
The meeting will be held via Zoom, if you would like to join the meeting please contact Town Clerk, Carol Harris for the meeting code, as above by midday on Tuesday 30th June. The agenda is available on the BTC website.
